At the entrance to Magog, in the Domaine des Pins, a single building brings architecture and construction together: the offices of Matière Première and nu drom.
The building borrows its form from the house — a simple pitched-roof volume set among mature pines, facing the field and the mountain. Two teams work in the same place, within a silhouette that remains familiar to the surrounding landscape.

Set on the site of two dilapidated motels riddled with asbestos, the project takes its place among mature vegetation that its compact form seeks to preserve.

Inside, a commercial programme takes on a residential language. Wood and white-painted surfaces echo one another in a calm, light-filled balance.

We believe our surroundings deeply shape the gestures of everyday life. Designing our own studio therefore became a natural extension of our practice.
